I was looking at small TVs that could serve the purpose for Television and being a computer monitor. I have an 8800 GT that supports the Component thing, so that's not the problem. The problem lies with resolution.

I'm a gamer, and the lower resolution of the LCD TV is getting to me. Will the Resolution of an LCD TV and LCD Monitor really be noticeable?

LCD TV Resolution: 1366 x 768
LCD Monitor Resolution: 1680 x 1050

What size screen you lookin at? By serving dual purpose you mean it'd be hooked up to a media center PC in your living room or something? i.e. you'd be looking at it from couch?

The TV is a 22" while the PC monitor is 21.6.

The reason I want the TV is that the box that I can get for FWREE from Verizon for FiOS outputs in HDMI and component, and most PC monitors that I have seen don't take HDMI, and if they do, don't take use of the audio that the cable sends out.

And it's going to be in a bedroom, not a living room.

I found this TV that would work.

But the resolultion isn't as good as this one.
LG - 22" 720p Widescreen Flat-Panel LCD HDTV - 22LC2D
But this one doesn't have as good a contrast ratio.

Ideas?
