Default Monitor - No Singal

Ok...So here is what happend, I had just unscrewed my computer after unplugging everything i wiped some of the dust on the inside of the shell, and then blew some of the dust on the motherboard away. Closed it all up plugged everything back in and now.... My screen turns on all fine and then it says No signal and goes onto a stand by mode.... I have no idea why its doing this, Everything is all plugged in and no lose connections on the back then i also looked again for any problems inside and NOTHING seems wrong in the slighest... Bah, So gave up put it all back together and i just left it.

So if you could please help me, i will Verbal hug you.

Hello Confuzzled, welcome to PCHF.

Does the PC beep as normal when you turn the PC on? If so, the first thing I would do it remove and then reaseat the graphics card?

Ok Try to use a different monitor or use that monitor on a different computer and make sure it works. Then if it does check your graphics card and make sure its plugged in.OR if you have on board graphics run the monitor off that and see if the computer Recognizes the Graphics card.

Basically, unplug all of your drives, and leave one memory module in, then try booting up. If nothing happens, try getting the screw out by grasping the sides of it with pliers and twist. I had a few like that where I didn't have the correct screwdriver head. Then pull out your graphics card and put it back in. Make sure to hold it by the edges only, and touch a non-painted part of your pc case to discharge any static in you before doing so.
