Default [Answered] Monitor Power issue

Alright, so I have a Hyandai 19" LCD. It's been working perfectly for a month and a half, but the other day, it started randomly switching off.

I would disconnect the power cable, wait for a few minutes and plug it back in, I assumed it was a simply overheating issue, but for some reason, it will no longer turn back on.

I was just wondering what my next step should be?

Oh, and I know this is the monitor, as my old 15" is working on it right now.

Thanks...

Hello Spudguy,

Basically, if you have another monitor using the same video cable as your current monitor, and that monitor runs fine on your machine, then the only possible problem is on the 19" monitor. Which I understand is what you already know.

The next thing to do is contact either the manufacturer of the monitor or the store you bought the monitor from and go through the warranty process. Any monitor is going to have at least a 90 day warranty on it.

Hope that helps!

Alright, thanks.

Does anyone know if OverClockers.co.uk are good with warranty?
