Default connecting two CRT monitors to one PC

I would like to connect two CRT monitors to my music PC to make the use of some applications I frequently use more convenient. I have the Monitors, I just need to know what else I need to get. The PC has just one standard monitor port from the motherboard, so I am not sure if I need to get another graphics card or if there are any known adapters that would do the job (and allow me to assign different displays to each monitor).

I am really just looking for the most affordable way to do this, if anyone can reccomend some advice and/or links to products that woudl do the trick, it would be very helpful, thanks.

Hi Scorpios...

You've got a couple of options...if you're current video card has the white DVI plug, you can get an adapter (very cheap) from any computer/electronics store...
If you only have the 1 standard blue (used to be green) VGA plug, then you'll need to purchase a video card...you can get a cheap PCI video card that supports dual monitors from Matrox...i use one of these at work, and it works well for dual monitors...but it's shocking for anything else. Your best bet is to check Newegg.com - Buy Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, Digital Cameras and more! or TigerDirect.com Best Deals - Computer Parts, PC Components, Computers & Electronics for yourself.

Perhaps even eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices if you're keen.
