Question [Answered] Laptop - Plasma TV connection

Hi all,
I posted this earlier on Graphics Board and thought it may be more appropriate here.
I have a 42" Plasma telly and an FS AMILO Pro V3205 Notebook. I want to connect them so I can view DVDs and online video on the telly. Obviously, I need to buy cables but I'm not sure which is most appropriate, SVideo or DVI. Both the telly and the notebook possess both types of port. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance,
Core

Hi Hengis,

Thanks for your response.

The TV is an LG PDP (Plasma Display Panel) Model No.: RZ42PX11

As I said, both the Amilo and the TV have SVideo and DVI ports, I have the manuals for both but these are technical rather than advisory and I guess it's a qualitative decision.

I look forward to hearing back.
Thanks again,
Core

Sorry for the delay. Go for the DVI connection
