Is an HP L1706 TFT LCD compatible with my HP Pavilion 763n? How do I find out what monitors are compatible with my computer?

If your Graphics card has a white input and the end of the monitor cable is white then its a DVI Connection, if they are blue inputs then its a VGA Connection.

It's more of a "greenish" color, but that probably falls into the "blue" category. Now that I know that it's VGA, I again ask, is it compatible with the above-referenced monitor?
