Hello bigal, welcome to PCHF.
If there's a physical problem with the monitor, there's absolutely nothing you will be able to do about this yourself, except for seeking out your warranty documentation.
However, I would double check you have the right "Input Source" selected on your screen. Many screens now come with both analog and digital connections. If you are connected to a digital socket (normally white), make sure your input source is selected to Digital. If you are connect to a analog socket (normally blue), make sure your input source is selected to Analog. The input button on many monitors is normally the first button you have on the screen, others you may need to access the menu to change your input source.
