Hi Curtis and welcome to PCHF!

I hate to inform you this but your screen flicker is probably due to a loose hinge or connection inside your laptop. I do not recommend fixing this yourself as laptops can be hard to deal with and easy to do bad damage if you mess up even a little. And to get on wireless, you would need to have a wireless router set up and a wireless card in your laptop. Let me know if you have these two.

Thanks,
Adam

Hey Adam thanks for the greeting. I do own a wireless router and my laptop has built in wireless. I went to a friends house last week and when i tryed to get on I kept getting the messege Internet Explorer can not open this page. On my laptop it says i was conneted to his network, but no luck. As fot the screen do you think Circuit City or Best Buy can fix this problem?

Probably, but it will probably cost you but, I'm not sure how much. As to the wireless, open up Internet Explorer and click Tools > Internet Options. Click Connections tab and click LAN Settings. Check the Automatically Detect Settings box and click Ok on both windows. Restart Internet Explorer and all should work.

Good luck,
Adam
