Default Brown dots cover my screen

Hi, I am sorry if anyone has made a thread with this before!

I have a Packard Bell laptop, its only around 5 months old, and today this werid thing started to appear in the corner of my screen. It started out in the top right hand corner, then covered my whole screen.

It was like an infestation of brown/orange dots. After they have covered my screen, the things I were currently on, such as a page on the internet would slowly go invisible, and then the screen would make a flash of black. Then suddenly everything goes back to normal.

It has happend now around 5 times , if anyone knows what this is, please tell me!
Many thanks!!

Hi Nectuuuur and welcome to the board,

If it were me, I would be contacting Packard Bell about this issue. At only 5 months old, there should be a warranty on it. Sounds like something is defective, and thus causing this problem.

Let us know how it goes.

Hi Nectuuuur
go back to the supplier... UK law states that "If a product shows a fault within 6 months"it's deamed to have been faulty at the point of manufacture and therefore should be replaced or repaired free of charge............ DON'T BE FOBBED OFF BY YOUR RETAILER......THE LAW'S THE LAW................ Make them put it right

Wow, that's a tough law! The USA does not have such laws. Usually though, US manufacturers do have warranties that are pretty good.
