My apologies for delay-- you got lost in the shuffle somehow.
No recent resolution changes?
tried degaussing (doubtful-- but it can't hurt) (buttons in front looks a little scary-- it's demagnetizing the screen)
How to Degauss a Computer Monitor - WikiHow
it may be the tube or internal power supply.
never open a monitor case-- capacitors can be fatal

Nah, still got the problem. Adjusting with the monitor buttons doesn't help, just stops an inch top and bottom whatever I do. Thanks for trying, I'll just have to live with it for now.
