Default monitor switches self off

well i have a flat screen monitor, and every time i reboot my pc or switch off, and when it comes back on, the monitor switches itself off, but the light is green(on) sio si switch off (standby) and tap (knock) with my knuckle lighlty in the corner and switch back on, then its ok, but then it will switch off ocasionially and i repeat this, till it stops, but if i leave my pc on for like a few weeks, it doesnt do it, whats wrong with it, its not lose leads. PLEASE HELP

Hi Crocit,

Apologies for the delay in getting to you.
This sounds to me like it might be a faulty switch on the monitor. If it's still under warranty you should get your supplier to replace it.
If you can also try another monitor and see if it does the same thing
let us know how you get on
