Default [Resolved] Montor: Signal Not Found. -Built a Computer First Time-

I just built a computer (if your wonder what it is just check). I think I built it right, never put a motherboard in but followed the directions, same with CPU and power supply. Here is the problem, I put my video card in and hooked the power supply to it. I made the fatal mistake not checking if the motherboard had a intergrated AGP slot so I could plug my montor. It did not come with one, so I had to get creative to find out how I was going to use a AGP cord on a DVI only video card. I wasn't sure if any DVI was going to work because the video card DVI looks like a DVI-D, but all I could find was a DVI-I for a converter for my plug on my moniter. Instead I got a DVI-D cord and got a AGP converter. Unfortunutly it doesn't work and I do not know what is wrong, new moniter? Need to use a AGP cord and buy a converter? or is their something else that is wrong with my computer?

do you have another computer or monitor to test with... e.g, can you test your monitor on anything?

can you borrow a monitor or take yours to a friends to test it?

i'm guessing you're using pci-e ... does the system sound like its booting past post?
