hrm, are tft flat screens not HD? i can stream HD videos, like movie trailers and such.

Ok, i have some more information to back up my points

I was doing a bit of surfing and came across this particulary usefull cable and adaptor.

Now, all looks good there, especially for the adaptor. The thing is with the cable is that it is female to male, i need female to female :S

Bearing this information at hand, has anyone had any experience on connecting a ps3 to a pc monitor? Realy desperate to get this working

hrm, another small problem, more about general connectivity though.

The adaptor that i have, has the usual 3 rows of 8 pins and then that slightly longer pin with 2 smaller pins either side-
This adaptor is just used to connect a monitor to a graphics card.

Now, the female adaptor for the HDMI thing has three rows of 8 pins with the slightly longer pin, but doesnt have holes for the 2 pins either side of the longer pin. Would this still connect?
