ive had my resolution on 1440 x 900 for quite a while on my 19" widescreen monitor. I just changed same ports on my modem and rebooted. my resolution was 1024 x 768 when i came back onto windows and when i try to put back to 1440 x 900 its not on the list of desktop propities.

on the list the closest to 1440 x 900 is 1600 x 900 however looks like ****.

any body know how to get 1440 x 900 back on the list of resolutions???

What do you mean by "I just changed same ports on my modem and rebooted."?
1600 x 900 should be really distinct, just enlarge the aspect ratio.

Are you using Windows Properties to change this or your graphics card control panel, if not try both of them.

i was just changing ports for a program and rebooted. and for no reason it changed my resolution.

when i first got my monitor the resolution 1440 x 900 was never there in windows desktop properties, however, when i changed the options on the video card to 1440 x 900, the resolution then appeared on my windows desktop properties.

however now, i try and do the same thing but the resolution 1440 x 900 doesnt even appear on my video card options. wierd..

the resolution 1600 x 900 on the overhand, makes everything blury and hard to read.

i was just hopeing there was a program or something to choose any resolution..

ps. the resolution 1440 x 900 is the recommended resolution for the best of the monitor.
