Hello deadrising2day,

Welcome to PCHF.

If you have up to date video drivers, and your video card supports this resolution, make sure you also have a monitor driver which supports this res. Sometimes an installation CD comes with the monitor, otherwise go to Control Panel, Display, Settings tab, Advanced, Monitor tab, Properties, Driver tab, followed by Update Driver. Phew! Then, "Install from Specific Location", Next, "Dont Search", Next, untick "Show Compatible Hardware", and from the right hand side choose a Digital Flat Panel drive that supports a resolution equal or higher to the one you want.
