yeh it will boot up into safe mode, but it does boot up normally otherwise though in terms of the computer, like everything loads and i can sign in and all when the screen is doing this, only the screen wont stay on for more than one or two seconds.
Though when booting up in safe mode after the screen had messed up, after it had loaded all the files it does in safe mode, my screen would turn on properly.
I got the same response when it happens and i go into my display properties and go to advanced, then the adapter tab and uninstal the drivers in there then restart my comp. The screen wont work on the start up but when i log in and finishes loading everythign the screen will stay on when i push the button.
I assumed this must be the problem and continued on wit my work, later that nite the screen went off again and instead of restarting i opened and closed my display properties, opening the advanced settings but not changing anything and then after a lil bit it stayed on. Once it had stayed on again i noticed that the adapter drivers i had uninstalled where back again, as my ATI symbol appeared back in the toolbar at the bottom.
It hadnt started up cause i uninstalled the drivers u see. I use that catylyst thing i think its called, the bit u download for radeon cards.
when it happens i seem to be able to get the screen back after a couple of minutes, though im not sure if its wot im doing or just coincidencial that it starts but i am turning the screen off than on, so i can see the screen for about a second and then opening the display properties and openign menus in it but not changing anything. I dnt know whether its the turning the screen off then on lots or openign the display properties or whether its just happening on its on in time
Any help is greatly appreciated as it is preventing me from doing my work
