Monitors - Grey screen when monitor is first powered up posted in the Hardware forums; Does it happen in both VGA and Digital? or have you not tested this? I've got no idea what's going on, more curious then anything else...

Does it happen in both VGA and Digital? or have you not tested this?

Ive not tested it as i dont know what mode its in, or how to change it.

It's fairly easy to change.

Infact, it's just a cable coming from the back of the monitor tot he video card.

White = DVI
Blue = VGA

If you don't have either, you can pick them up from random places, but that's if you're worried if it's the monitor, i'd suggest this...but otherwise...if it works...it's not broken...so don't fix it

It back again, but this time, it will also display the grey screen on the Welcome screen as well. . I just hope my monitor aint burning out or is damaged in any way.
