Exclamation [Fixed] monitor enters powersaving mode once operating system loads

hello,
my pc's monitor enters power saving mode as said when the operating sytem loads up or when i try to reinstall xp and it restarts it just goes to powersaving mode. it will show the whole pc start up script and the start part of xp but will then shut down. i have tried putting an graphics card in and it does the same with the graphics card and without. it is not the monitor as i have tried it on another pc and it works fine. this might be the wrong place to put his but i don't know where to put it. anyhelp would be greatful.

Hi and welcome to the site,

Sounds like a graphics driver issue. Start Windows in Safe-Mode, then go to System Devices and find the graphics card (Display Adapters). Right click on it and select uninstall. Re-boot and let Windows determine the best driver for the card.
