No bud, I'm just saying that it's not something we've recommended before. By all means try it, if it's good and it does the job come back and tell us about it

Hi,

I decided to post here with my issue rather than create a new topic. I recently got a 3870 HD and I have two LCD monitors, a 19" and a 17". What I want to do is run a full screen application in one monitor while running diagnostics and other progs like msn in another without the app minimizing every time I click on the other monitor. I know I could run it in windowed mode and I tried this but my computer slowed down a lot and there was some insane mouse lag.

I'm hoping somebody with experience on dual monitor setups (like garhar) would be able to give me some suggestions? I've tried extended, clone, and mirrored desktops.

Hi Night
Woah can't believe I created this topic back in 2006! Doesn't seem like i'm been using two monitors for that long heh
As far as I know, it's just not possible to do that. I've done quite a bit of research myself and always come to a dead end. What I do is just have the instant messenger, or whatever else I need on the second monitor while on a game. That way I will be notified when I have a message and can simply alt-tab out of the game and reply.
It's a bit of a pain, but I know of no other way
