Unhappy [Resolved] monitor probs after building pc

hey all i am working on a pc right now it is a

gateway2000
win XP pro
pII 300MHz
128 ram
a 30gb hd and a 120 gb hd
geforce 4000MX graphics card pci 128 ddr 64 mb

i started on this pc today and when i hook the monitor up it wont show any thing it stays blank i know the monitor and graphics card are good because i tryed them both together in a diff pc and it worked jsut fine but it is pizzling me because the pc i am working on dont have an onboard graphics card and i cant get it figured out plz HELP it all started after i added the 120gb hd and a cd romand the geforce graphics card it was working just fine before then and now i cant get it to do any thing i have even tryed to go back to the original setup that it had before i was working on it i even put the old graphics card back in and still no monitor hope to hear from you soon because mom is wanting her pc back all to her self sincerely jack aka ozzy

ok sorry everyone ignore this post it was a small problem i found out that there was a mem card that was not locked in sorry it was a human error the problem has been fixed sorry for any inconvience
