Default dvi with no signal
Hope you can help me out with this one guys...

I have just bought a DVI cable for my NEC multisync LCD1560vm monitor and after switching the D-sub cable for the DVI one there is no signal.

is there something that i need to enable in any settings panel or anything that i might have missed, or have i got a faulty cable

Shouldn't be anything to enable SB, cheapest thing to do is try another cable first before we start pulling the PC around...

i have just rebooted my machine, which i dont do very often btw. and the DVI cable has suddenly been picked up, so i think that this threas can be marked as fixed,

One more little question about DVI cables though, what is the benefit of having one os these as i cant really see much difference between the DVI and D-SUB cable?

I Can Fix This  I Need Help
