Default Lines across my monitor ??

Hello, I am new, and was recommended by a friend to seek help with my problem here. I had recently updated my video card from Nvidia and notice performance is much smoother. BUT now when I play certain games in full screen white'ish fuzzy/blurry lines go u pand down across my monitor... It only stops when I exit full screen mode, and play on window mode (with blue borders around the edges ) . But certain games, I cant play on window mode, so I try to lay through the unbearable blurryness ... This has only happened after I downloaded my new video card update ... Please help ?

Thank you,

Daniel

What video card did you buy , wich driver did you install , and did you uninstall the old cards driver first?

BUT now when I play certain games in full screen white'ish fuzzy/blurry lines go u pand down across my monitor... It only stops when I exit full screen mode, and play on window mode (with blue borders around the edges ) .

What resolution and refresh rate are you using?

Thank you,

Daniel

Hi,

It depends totally on what your graphics card/monitor can handle. Can you post the full make and model number of your monitor and we will look at it for you.

Well I dont know my exact monitor model etc .. I know it is fairly old. I was fiddling with my hertz, and I managed to get it to 85hertz. The next higher hertz is 100. When i try to go 100 or over, my monitor goes completely black, meaning I guess it cant handle past 85herts refresh rate. When I tried to open a program it still was showing fairly large fuzzy white lines going across the screen. The lines dont appear when a page is loading, but when a page or screen is fully loaded, it started to show the lines... What should I do next ?
