Default Monitor Edges shifts - problem

Hi there,

I started to have problem with my monitor, its IIYama Vision Master Pro 455 - MM904UT A (ABK)

Problem:
The edges of left and right of the screen are moving vertically in and out, creating shifting effect that my screen is resizing.
I realized it happens even more when i push a little the table that monitor is sitting on. First i thought its power cord, which i replaced but no change, still the same.

Could anyone help me please ?

Default Monitor

Hi there Rickzkm,

Welcome to PCHF.
Do you have speakers or any other power source near the monitor, this often causes the screen to oscillate. Try moving these away from the monitor, this should do the trick.

Hi,

No i don't, I have taken this monitor to next room and connected it to different PC. And its the same problem

The screen edges are moving simultaneously vertically to left and right by about 5-10 millimeters, expecially when i wobble with the table that screen is sitting on. Very wierd.

Have a look trough youre monitors option for a degauss option , and use it if you have it. And did you also check if other cables are all connected tight?

But i think it is a sign that the monitor is gona quit soon im afraid.

Default Monitor

Hi Rickzkm,

I have to agree with Joe5, it does sound like the monitor is on it's way out. Sorry.

P.S. Have you tried another monitor on the original pc?
