Default My Dual Monitor Problem by San Franpsycho

Hello, haven't been on in a while, pretty busy, but now I have a slight problem.

I have an NVIDIA GeForce 6600 GT Video card in my PC. And I'm using a ViewSonic VX910 Monitor for it.

However, I want to also use my HDTV Sharp Aquos as a 2nd monitor. I was able to do this when I used my laptop. It was easy to figure out.

However, with my new PC, it's too tough for me.

I checked out the following thread where someone had a similar problem to mine, but my options are different where it says "Zoom Control".
http://www.pchelpforum.com/graphics/...-question.html

Sooooo, I do have a DVI connection from my PC to my HDTV, but I don't see a thing, and I do have it on the right input. I've restarted the PC and it doesn't help.

I'm getting a black screen on the HD, but whenever the PC restarted, the screen on the HDTV does say the resolution in the corner like when you turn it on. But the screen stays black.

The DVI Cable is fine, I've used it with my old laptop before.

Help would be GREATLY appreciated

Hey there San Fran

What connectors does the 6600 have on it, is it 2 x DVI or 1 x 15pin and 1 x DVI.

In your Nvidia option there should be something relating to TV, from memory you can change the output to go to TV, try enable that.

I have a machine running a similar spec card so I will be able to help out more tomorrow.

Hmm, I'll have to take a picture of that for you, I got a new digital camera, I just have to install everything.

I'll have the picture soon. I'm not 100% sure, but I think it is a 1 x 15pin DVI connection, but let me make sure, and I'll take the pictures.
