Default [Pending] Resolution problem

I've been using my Viewsonic P225f monitor for a year now with a resolution of 1800x1440 @ 75H on my X800 Pro. But suddently, when I started my comp this morning I've got a strange problem. With resolution higher than 1280x1024 I can't see the whole thing, I've got to scroll at the edges to see the rest of what's on the screen. It's just like when you use Tv-Out but the resolution is too high for your Tv, you have to scroll or lower the resolution. I tried resinstalling the drivers for the monitor and video card. I also tried to change to width and height with the built-in monitor's fonction. Plz help, I can't stand playing a game @ 1280x1024...

Default Re: Resolution problem

If you goto display properties > settings > Advanced > adapter > list all modes

Can you see the resulotion you want?

If not you need to seach further on your display driver.

If the resulution is there we need to look at the monitor proterties:
Then goto display properties > settings > Advanced > monitor > Monitor type
Is yout monitor listed there or is only default monitor available ?
If only the default monitor is available you need to install the drivers of the monitor (So your graphic card knows what your monitor can handle)
