Default [Answered] 2 monitors on 1 computer at the same time

Hello,

Yesterday i want to do something new with my laptop..
So i thougt and thought, yeah! a secundairy monitor..
So i putted the cable of the monitor in my laptop and installed.
And it works very well, but not at the same time.
Is it possible in Windows XP with a ATI 7000 RADEON video card to run 2 monitors at the same time so you can use them both?
Please help.

If you have added the monitor to the laptop then yes, there is a way you can use the two at the same time.

On most modern laptops you will be able to do the following:

Hold down the Fn key (usually lower left on the keyboard and coloured blue) then look at the F1, F2, F3 etc keys at the top of the keyboard - look for the one with CRT/LCD or something similar (usually F8) whilst holding down the Fn key hit the F8 (or what ever yours is) until you see a display on both screens.
