I just got a used PDA2K I-mate phone. It runs Windows Mobile 2003 second edition version 4.21.1088 (Build 14132).

The ROM version is: 1.22.00 WWE dated 10/22/2004

Please can you help me update it in some way? I want a newer ROM version that can fix some bugs (I know there are newer ones than the one I have installed) and I hope this is the right forum to post this question.

I found this: 1.40.00 WWE but it doesn't have any information about the date.

If mine is 1.22.00 WWE, then this is newer right?

I would certainly say that 1.4 would be newer than 1.22.

Did you look in the iMate support forum on that site?

Yeah no one answers their posts... It's sad

I have another major problem. I downloaded the updater. I ran it and the update started (I had to link the imate with the PC by a USB cable). Unfortunately, the update progress was interrupted (the battery of my laptop ran out) and now, the I-mate shows a black screen, doesn't respond to the reset function and if I connect it to the computer and try to update it again, the computer doesn't recognize it.
