Except i havent changed the BIOS at all. Could the problem be from the motherboard?

I havn't looked into the specifics of your setup but yes it is possible. My brothers PC is only compatible with certain ram in certain configurations. He has 4 ddr3 slots but can only use 2 with the ram that he has. Any more and he gets constant bsod/freezing. Before a recent bios update he could only use 1 stick so this may help you aswell.

Did you purchase your 2nd stick through Clevo or online?
