IMO 25-30 FPS while moving is not terrible lag, i run about the same FPS as you, 35-30 while moving, and around 90-100 standing still in certain spots, as far as FPS goes other games, farcry 2, COD games like that i hit 50-60 FPS, i seems wow eats up my fps more than any other game, but even running at 30fps while i play wow it runs smooth and looks great. wow seems to be oen of the only games that runs low fps but looks great, one thing i might recommend if you want to tweak your graphics a little to get better FPS download nHancer

nHancer - Advanced Control Panel for nVidia Cards

you could also try uping your AA (if you havnt already)

another thing to check is some bio's also give you options to tweak your PCIe slot

ye, like i say, the other comps run fine at 25-30fps...

but i was just mentioning tht it changes at the slightest character movement...

i find it weird my ping is 400, when other lan comps are 200...

Um, and when i move it is no where near 25 fps, it STOPS dead, for a few seconds, then lags when the graphics catch up..

my comp is well capable of running wow.
geforce 9600gt + 2gb ram..

i am well frustrated and appreciated any more advice?

it also takes AGES for all wow loading screens once its reachd 100%...

thanks, joe

try running the game with no sound

# Right-click on the shortcut you use to start WoW and select "Properties"
# You should see a target line in the new window that is already highlighted.
# Add -nosound to the end of what is already there, be sure that there is a space between the hyphen and the end-quote and that there is a space.

It should look similar to this:
"C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Launcher.exe" -nosound
