Hello jkyahoo101.

I see nothing wrong with it.

The only thing I've noticed is that some motherboards seem to favor one brand over another but that's about it.

Always a good idea to be really familiar with what is and isn't recommended for whatever board a person owns in order to avoid potential problems before they happen.

+1 to what LoneWolf said. DDR3 would be the only thing that is better. But the lack of supporting motherboards is a problem since it is such a new concept

Ya my board doesn't support DDR3 anyway. And I am not too worried about the specific type since the ram I have now is some off brand type. Thanks for the help. Just remember hearing some horror stories about ram not working.
