Default Problem with the memory

I brought a computer and allegedly they put 2 GB of memory. Well, when I clicked in "my computer" , it told me that I have 0,99 Gb, but when I entered in BIOS, it told me that I have 2 Gb, dividen in two channels, both of 1 GB. Also I realized by the game, that I have less memory, because games that allegedly perfectlley runned with 2 Gb, dont run perfect.

Sorry the misspellings.

My pc have this:

Intel Core 2 duo 2.33 Ghz
Geforce 8500 gt 512 mb
Memory 2 Gb allegedly

Help me please

My video card is a geforce 8500 gt and I dont understand of if they are of the same speed. If you refer the memories, they are of 1 Gb each one.

Ok, enable your video card on the BIOS, and can you open your computer??, if not, send her back and report the issues, but if you can, switch the RAM slot, your VIDEO CARD is disabled. Enable it on the BIOS, but the seller should have configured ur system. Switch ram slots and enable video card in the BIOS.But, do it at your own risk, you could injure yourself with ESS. be CAREFUL while opening your computer.Good luck
