Default 4GB ram showing up as 2.47gb
Hey everyone, i just upgraded from 2gb or ram to 4gb. I know it should have shown up as 3.25gb but its showing up as 2.47 in the system information.

Total Physical Memory 4,096.00 MB
Availible Physical Memory 2.47 GB

My motherboard - Newegg.com - ABIT IP35 Pro LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard - Intel Motherboards

My Ram - Newegg.com - G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory

Any ides as to why im not getting full usage?

Hi Doc, Which OS are you using? 32bit Windows will struggle with any more than 3GB.

I am using XP Pro

With no programs running it was only saying 2.47, should be 3/3+

I Can Fix This  I Need Help
