I have an old Dell computer. It is a deminsion 8100 and it came with 256 ram. It has gotten slower and slower so I decided to add more ram. I called Dell and was told the ram was very expensive a (175.00) per stick. I got on line and found some for $40.00. Why is some so expensive and others so cheap? Also is there a place I can go and see exactly what type I need? I was told it had to be done in pairs. There are 8 slots (four in each card) for a total of two gigs. All I want to do is add another 256 for now. Best place to buy. Any suggestions, comments, etc. Gdaddy
