Memory - Ram Lowered! posted in the Hardware forums; Okay, My RAM used to read 1GB just a minute ago and now when I booted up again, it reads 960MB what gives? I did, however, removed my graphics card ...

Okay,

My RAM used to read 1GB just a minute ago
and now when I booted up again, it reads 960MB

what gives?

I did, however, removed my graphics card and started to use
the onboard video.....is this where the extra MB went?

Heya Terdog,

Your theory is correct. On-board video has some dedicated memory and also shares some of your RAM. That number is likely to fluctuate.
