I have Vista Ultimate 64 bit and it shows all 4 gig DDR2.Running great to.

And PC expert this is a new build so I bought the member has had time to install anything other than the OS.

I would sugest as AW said just put 2 sticks in the yellow slots.Remove the other 2 for now.

Is all the RAM showing in BIOS/Post screen?Is memory remapping enabled in BIOS?Although I am not sure on memory mapping.

Have you updated the BIOS?

Well i actually figured out what the problem was. It was that stupid *** Superfetch feature in vista. I turned that off. Also it was mostly my CPU was running too hot. So i added a scythe 110CFM fan to my radiator on my w/c kit for now, which seems to bring my temps down for now. But i just ordered one of these babies! will definitely cool my cpu a LOT!

Figured Superfetch was the problem. How is that scythe fan working? (no more 70 degree temps?) and that is a cool radiator, but i dont know how that gets mounted or anything lol

EDIT> I believe his crashes were due to exceedingly high Processor temps (60+ at idle, 75+ at load)

hey man hows it going? the scythe still runs hot, like 67-68 at full load and like 52-55 idle. But that radiator goes ontop of the tower, and gets looped into the back of the case. I bought a koolance Quick disconnect kit for it so it should be awesome! I plan on putting 3 scythe fans in that radiator LOL talk about tornado.

Thats definetly better than it was. I dont know if you will need 3 of those fans, lol, check out to see how the ones it come with work out first. if 1 of those fans was loud, just imagine how loud 3 will be on the OUTSIDE of you case lol
