Any problems with AVG 8 -- auto-updates or anything?

Only had it a couple of dates, cant say had problems when it did update.
Took AVG 7.5 off and tried Avast 4, but kept freezing the whole thing so binned it and got the AVG instead.

AVG 8 supposedly can conflict with leftover files from 7.5... read the top links' thread...so you know what to watch out for.

Hi there, I see your having some problems. Lets try to figure this out, please download Everest from my signature, and install it. See what that says. Hopefully it will give us some correct and reliable information. What do you plan on doing with this system that you are upgrading it for?

EDIT> I need the CPU model, and speed, the motherboard make/model and the chipset, and the GPU information. (i.e. Geforce FX5500)
