Smile RAM changing

hey guys!

I'm new here & i wondered if you could give me your advice on something

I've got a 1520 & it's kinda sluggish since i put Vista ultimate on it (should have known at the time).

I've been meaning to upgrade the RAM from 1gb to 2gb.

I was just wondering if you could tell me if some RAM that i found on dabs.com was good or pretty terrible.

cheers

Hi and welcome to PCHF

As long as that Ram is compatible with your system then it will do you well, Crucial is a good brand

Yeah, it should perform good, many of our users here have Crucial ram and speak highly of it, Kingston is up there as well.
I myself have G-Skill only because it's the cheapest on Newegg....

I know this is answered but there's one thing i've forgotten to ask.
Does the RAM in a 1520 have to be buffered, unbuffered, registered? which one?
