Default [Pending] Freeing up RAM

pretty simple one here, i had a look around and was quite surprised i didnt come across this question early on, so im gona be a pain in the *** and ask anyway...

i got a gig of ram and when i play itunes and click around the net the music jumps. this is due to low ram no? it wasnt doing it before. how do i free a bit up? or a lot up? im sure theres a load of **** running that i really dont need.

Default Re: Freeing up RAM

Hey Dave,couple of things to try, go into msconfig (Start>run>msconfig) then disable any unwanted startup programs (go here> Sysinfo.org to see what is needed at startup)

Also go here >Black Viper's Web Site and use the info there to disable any unrequired services
