oh I think i need to lol
i received this computer in 2000 or 2001

it takes me about 4 or 5 tries from cold start to actually get into the main desktop page
its caused by some device driver as well as some other errors

but i figured that it would need a bios update

If your having those problems, you should re-install all major device drivers

tried that...problem is still there?
its very strange
some errors had to deal with the RAM as well
that may be the actual problem....ram?
what does it sound like to you?

Your memory may have errors in it. If that is indeed the problem, your new memory should solve it
