OK, I will do. I should mention just in case that if I go to control panel> display>settings>advanced>adapter the card is there with all the details. Also earlier when I uninstalled the driver, the screen resolution changed, meaning the card is actually working (right?).
Oh well, I'll try removing the card tomorrow. Thanks a lot

Right, I have just removed and reinserted my card... nothing's changed.
Any more ideas? I should probably ask ATI about this

do you have another computer you can try the card in? It might be hardware failure.
