Memory - RAM Not to full memory posted in the Hardware forums; I thought it was rumoured to show 4gb, however not use it as the 32bit platform cannot support 4gb or something ?...

I thought it was that the 32bit platform is limited to 4gb? At least that's the case on XP, I think.

Here, i found this through just doin some "googling". it pretty much explains everything.

The system memory that is reported in the System Information dialog box in Windows Vista is less than you expect if 4 GB of RAM is installed
