No I only have this desktop and a crummy old laptop. Looking on the web, read an article saying that if the
RAM sticks having a different number of chips with varying amounts than this is a problem, and a possible reason for not working.
The new
RAM sticks has 8 chips, each 124MB big whereas the other stick has 16 chips each 64MB so is there a possible communication error ?
Thing I just dont understand is that On Everest it says the Physical Memory is only 1022MB but when you look in the Memory section at SDB or whatever its called it shows both sticks, being DIMM1 and DIMM2, with the only difference being there serial numbers.
Its as if they are simply not being registered as one memory source.....
But im still pretty clueless, I appreciate all the help so far!
