Hello Garnett,

Sounds to me like you have a faulty stick or two of RAM.

You can test for faulty memory using memtest:

- If you have a floppy drive and a spare floppy disk, please download: http://www.memtest86.com/memt32.zip
- If not, please download, unzip and use nero to burn this image: http://www.memtest86.com/memtest86-3.2.iso.zip
Reboot with the CD/Floppy in the drive and start memtest. This will ensure there are no problems in memory.

Faulty memory causes data corruption, so depending on the severity of the data corruption on the HDD (probably very little if you have just re-installed the OS), you may still receive BSOD's after fixing this problem.

If memory turns out OK, take a look at BSOD's on my signature, which describes how to post a log of these events back here, and we can analyse them further.

Hey Gar,

Just looking for the last couple of logs, 2 or 3. This will be enough to compare, and narrow down the possibilities as much as possible. Is this OK?
