Default Will this ram work

Hi. My son needs more memory and I found this at a good price. just wondering if this memory will work. DDR PC2700U-25331-Z. His manual specs are PC2100(266MHz) or PC2700 (333MHz) DDR SDRAM (non-EEC) .

What PC model or motherboard-- just to be certain ?
As long as they are the same slot-type it should work... but PC 2700 will only run at 2100 speed if that's the maximum the mobo supports.
