Adding ram - 2x 256 + 2x 512?
Hi,
Could I add my old
ram
to my motherboard? Right now I got 2x 512mb
ram
and I got 2x 256mb
ram
spare

Hi illusion, this will work, as long as the memory is close in speed, and the same type (ddr, ddr2, sdram)

Hi
as long as you have spare sockets for it on your mainboard and it is compatible yes it should work.

Garhar, what do you mean by close in speed?
And is this correct? As long as it's the same type ddr, ddr2, sdram... it can be any number combination? Like 128 with 256 or 256 with 512, etc...
