well when i bought the new Antec 900 case i also purchased 2gig of Corsair dual channel ram @ 667mhz, a WD 320mb 16mb cache HDD and i am not running NORTON!

In actual fact the benchmark has not gone up much, but the system is much faster.. DUAL CHANNEL is much worth the extra dollars, and so is a 16mb hdd. thanks for all the help again.

avg is a good low resource virus protection, if u are looking for an all in one spyware antivirus, try Microsoft Live One care, i worked as a tech at circuit city and i sold one to every single customer almost, Bill gates owes me, but seriously, It removed Zlob virus 90% of the time and doesnt seem to be a resource hog, i got mine at costco for 10 bucks, and u can use it on 3 machines, its for sure worth it, i used to not run any protection, but for 10 bucks, why not.
