Default Re: memory problems?

I'm happy to tell everyone that my problem is solved. It was in no way a hardware issue....but a fan issue. Several months ago, I was having graphical corruption in my games from what support and I thought was due to overheating. For this reason, I installed two new fans in my system. A short time later, it was determined that I had a faulty card so I replaced it and sure enough, the corruption was gone. I thought back to when this happened, realizing that it was about the same time I started my slowdown problem. Well, I uninstalled the two fans - and guess what - problem solved. I can leave the computer on for as long as I want now with absolutely no slowdown. Obviously, I didn't do such a hot job because it had some relation to the power consuption of my memory. I don't if this will help anyone else, but good luck anyway.
