Hi there, I hope you can help me.

I would like to "beef" up my old PC to give it a little more oomph. It's a "Shuttle" PC with a more recent AMD 2GHz (I think) processor and 2 x 256MB 266 RAM chips. It's around 4 years old now.

Unfortunately I'm swimming a bit about what sort of RAM I could use and was hoping one of you could kind souls might be able to guide me. I've had a look at the motherboard, but to be honest I don't know what to look for!

So... My question is: Can I purchase 2 x 512 MB RAM chips for it, and which ones should I buy.
