4300 - 4200 533mhz what is teh difference my brother has a dell.. dem - 4700..It states it uses 400-MHz (PC2-3200) and 533-MHz (PC2-4300) DDR2 unbuffered SDRAM non-ECC I am confused... i thought 3200- were 184 pins and the 4200 were 240.. i dunno anyway can i put any DDR2 4200 ram in that pc..over the 4300 (which i can't even find)

You are right, DDR and DDR2 are different sizes, so you will definitely want to get the correct specs for the unit. If it shows that it uses 4300, I am pretty sure that 4200 (which is much much more common) will work. Your best bet (if you don't want to make a phone call and get the right info) would be to try to find a good deal at a local retailer and just try it, that way if it doesn't work, you can easily return it and get your money back or an exchange. I hate RA process for online purchases.
