Default [Answered] Ram Upgrade Question

I currently have a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Pro laptop and am looking to upgrade the RAM to either 1gb or 512mb. I'm quite new to computers and am just wondering if there were any compatibility issues i need to be worried about, and advice on what would be the cheapest method of upgrading. Thankyou!! gimponovestel

The v2010 supports up to 2gb of memory no problems. It has 2 slots, so one of them should already be a free slot.

Make sure you whatever size memory you decide to buy is DDR266, 266MHz, PC2100, 200p SODIMM, 2.5v, Sync for example: 1Gb ddr PC2100 SODIMM - 1GB 1024MB DDR 266MHz PC2100 200pin SODIMM 2.5v low heat the latest high density chips which draw less power and run cooler than other brands. This keeps laptop notebook run more stable. - Order Now! (You can probably find cheaper elsewhere, but make sure the memory is not unbranded. Try to get a popular make such as Kingston or at the very least, the same model as you currently have installed in your laptop).
